Cherokee Overhead Consoles
There was a great thread on ilovejeeps.com that discussed some of the cheaper options for putting an overhead console in an XJ; I've gathered the highlights together here to try to make the swap or troubleshooting a faulty overhead console a little bit easier. My interest in the console came from a misguided urge to install a CD/radio in the overhead to get it out of the heat from the dash. This should prove interesting...
| 'bose' from Montreal first noticed that the 97+ Cherokee overhead console looked very similar to the console from a 93 Chrysler Voyager minivan. The Voyager shot has since disappeared, but the 97+ XJ console is seen to the right. |
